Please quote its number; it isn't coming up for me (not that I want to buy it....)

ETA someone has given me the number. If you want to up your chances, you might be wise to offer postage outside the US. It won't come up for me on a search because it us US only.

BTW Thea's is still available for $20..... from the artist.

I spent a couple of hours searching for it online before I put it up and found nothing.  Tarotgarden reports it as unavailable.

It's not unusual for someone to undercut pricing on an existing auction. I'm not entirely surprised.

Thanks lulukat, but it's still out of my price range as I've overspent horribly already this month. And loot for Martina's is due soon.  Plus, if the artist really does have copies left, it'd be better to buy from her for more than one reason.

Tarots are like buses, you wait ages for the one you want then two or three come along at once. (Says she hopefully)...:m

She fears to turn into a $175 deck on Ebay maybe?

Lonely Thea has no bids. Poor thing.

Stickfigure however seems to have a new home soon:

But... (again), if Thea's were readily available (and I'd have thought anyone who'd created and published a tarot would want to sell it), surely the Ebay listings would be at realistic prices? It's a little odd. The only two reasons I can think of for the lack of visibility are that either they're made by hand and the artist dislikes this process, or that she auctions one off on Ebay sometimes herself.

Unless Thea herself is a member of this forum... Lulukat, have you anything to tell us?

Could this Mystery inspire your next novel perhaps?

I honestly think it's not a priority for her anymore -the deck was made 25 years ago and whatever she has or had left (the one I got for you was the last, at least it sounded like it) just sat around.
As far as I know her main focus is teaching these days...

Pen's soon to be Thea Tarot = The Last Unicorn.

It's funny, but whenever I've thought about writing a tarot novel it's always the cards I'd create to go with it that seem to take over my head. I did begin a tarot based on The Golden Web, did some studies for a few cards then was overcome by ideas for the faces in the Pen. Maybe one day though.

Pen's soon to be Thea Tarot = The Last Unicorn

And as for the Last Unicorn coming my way, well, I'm pretty much overwhelmed by that too... A ton of thanks Lulukat...:D

I'm so looking forward to Thea's, Lulukat.

BTW, I know you're a photographer (the pix on your site are amazing:ro), but have you ever been in marketing? You have a talent for it.

Or... better still, detective work? You seem almost to have a sixth sense when it comes to tracking down unusual decks...:D
