I have been searching high and low for this limited edition, out-of-print deck, but so far to no avail. Having bought all the other decks by Karen and Alex apart from this one, I am willing to pay more or less any price for it, trade for so to say any of my decks or both.
To be honest I'm not really expecting much, but trying doesn't cost anything. Is there any kind soul out there that owns more than one copy and would like to help me out here? Thanks so much on beforehand.

I had a pending trade going with someone on this deck, but haven't heard back from her so no luck yet. Not about to give up hope though, so if someone here has more than one copy and/or is willing to part with it please let me know. I have a few decks to trade for it, including a brand-new, never-left-the-plastic Ancestral Path Tarot Kit (which also includes the companion book).
It took me several years to get a hold of the original edition of the Buckland Romani Tarot, so I'm not about to give up just yet.....

Thank you, I'm very happy about this
About the Victorian Romantic, that's kind of a tricky one. Since it's now OOP and becoming increasingly rare, the prices have sky-rocketed. They're found on Ebay pretty often these days, but usually range between $100 and $300. Go figure!
You could possibly be fortunate enough to find a cheaper variety though. Keep checking Ebay on a regular basis and you might get lucky. Other than that I just saw that a trimmed Victorian Romantic is being sold over at the Aeclectic Tarot forum. Not sure if it's gone by now, but every now and then a new one pops up for sale. You might want to check that out. Good luck finding one

Congratulations on finding a copy of the V.R. Gold Edition!
At baba-store.com for the Victorian Romantic it says:"We do hope to reprint at some time in the future but there is no firm date for this."
Oops, it really got copied.
I'm guessing that the Gold Ed. is not going to be reprinted though.

No it isn't. Karen has posted on AT that it isn't fair to the original buyers to reprint a limited edition. And it would also mean that no-one would want their limited editions again, given that they weren't really limited.

That's what I thought. I had not read about the VR, so I could only guess. I remember reading about a BG reprint where a few of the cards would be changed, I wonder if it'll be the same for the VR?

No, we don't reprint the limited editions. Full stop :)
On the standard Victorian Romantic, well, the current position isn't clear. It looks likely that we will license it in a foreign language edition and if that goes ahead, then one of the Majors will be replaced (or we will make the new card in addition to the current one) as we've been told the one we have doesn't work in the tarot reading tradition in the country in question (I'm being deliberately vague as contracts have not yet been signed).
If that all happens, then we may just arrange to take 200 or so decks in the foreign language edition and offer those instead of doing a reprint (which would be in the 1000s and a much bigger commitment).
I would love to be more definite about things, but it's all a bit up in the air for now.

Thank you for the information BabaStudio.
I understand not re-printing the limited edition; it's not fair to everyone who received one the "first-go-round".
It is interesting that sometimes cards don't fit with traditions in certain countries.
I really like your decks and I wish you all the best.
