I just found this accidentally, while browsing through DA's print page. Here's the artist's site: http://www.reinhardschmid.de
It seems he's finished the entire majors, and that he sells each card individually as personal astrological cards or something. I can't find info on whether he sells the entire deck.
Attached is the picture of his "personal museum" where I think he showcases the images of his deck.
It's a bit difficult to navigate through his sites, And I think this is an entirely different "deck": http://www.reinhardschmid.de/gewoelbe/pts/b0_plan01.jpeg which he drew on glass (like the Transparent!)...

Oh, how lovely. Thanks for the link, BlueToy. I sure hope he does print the full majors. I like them. I immediately felt attracted to his Hierophant.

I'm not particularly familiar with the logistics of DA, but I'm assuming these prints are printed on demand by DA (or some company they contract with) as opposed to being from the artists?
Has anyone here ordered prints from DA before? At $2.49 each for the 4" x 8" size, a full majors "deck" is a relatively reasonable $55. But I wonder how much care is put into the printing and what the quality is like.

You can monitor the sales of your prints, and then I guess you could pull out the image from the site to limit the number of prints sold. And yes, the prints come from deviantart itself, the artists just upload print-quality versions of their artworks. I'm not sure about the quality of the prints as I've never ordered prints from them, but several people have ordered my works from the site and I've never received a negative feedback on the quality of the prints.

Thanks. Perhaps when Mr. la-luna's prints arrive we can get a report?

I ordered prints from them and they are basically photo prints, same thing you'd get from a photo shop. I chose glossy finish, and I wish I had gone with matte. Quality was good, but the stock on photos wouldn't really work for reading. It also just seems strange.

Hmm thats what i feared and why i choose a larger format 8X12 inch (+/-20x30 cm) so i would have them but as portfolio format but in matte finish.
For a "real deck" it would be waiting for another possibility where you can choose paper or a collaboration with a small or medium publisher or even a self publishing effort.
