I have some information about a deck in progress that I wanted to share with everyone:
The deck is called “Dreamwalker Tarot” by Cecilie Noctique of Norway. She specifically asks on her website for people to share her images on social media to help spread the word, so I have included some samples below. I have also included a link to The Dreamwalker Tarot website.
I recall seeing an update toward the beginning of this year in which she stated that she only had about 9 cards left to finish and that she had secured the services of a printer; however, that update has since been taken down. As of this posting, there are no new updates, so I do not know the current status of the project, but I am most definitely reserving a place in my collection for this one!
UPDATE: Today, August 6, 2021, I attempted to access the Dreamwalker Tarot site to check for an update, only to find the web page it not active. In the event that this is a temporary situation, I am going to leave the following link in place. I just wanted to warn the readers that this link may no longer work.
The drawings are rather captivating, I hope that they'll publish this deck successfully.
I checked the domain, and noctique.art is not resolved by any DNS server at present. This means that the website has gone and often will not return.
I also checked the IANA WHOIS server and this domain seems to be registered by UK Creative Ideas Ltd in London (the address seem to be one of those address rental places).
The status of that company is "Converted / Closed". The last record is 16 Jul 2018 Closure of UK establishment(s) BR018445 and overseas company FC033359 on 1 July 2018.
The company was incorporated in the Isle of Man and the 3 directors are accountants from the Isle of Man, which points at some possible conclusions. You can find these details on the Company House website.
Images can also be found at some other sites she has posted on, such as the links below; however, as of this posting, there is still no update concerning the project. It would be a shame if such a unique deck did not get published.
Some of the characters on the cards remind me a little of those I have seen in Leonora Carrington's art. I'd be interested to know if Carrington was one of her inspirations.
