Since the ebay seller of the multiple copies of the delightful Tarocchi Di Antonio Possenti can't (or won't) ship outside of the EU, our member alice has graciously agreed to receive one group buy and forward the entire batch to me. I will then distribute them to the various members of our group. You can find out more at the original thread.

Basically, the total cost of shipping from the seller to alice and from alice to me will be split proportionally based on the number of decks each member buys. (E.g., if there are 10 total decks ordered and you ordered two of them, you'd be responsible for 2/10 of the total shipping cost.) Shipping from me to you (assuming you're in the USA) would be $6.10 by priority mail with delivery confirmation (unless you order more decks than can fit in the small flat rate box).

The decks themselves are 10 Euros each (a bit over $13.00 at current exchange rates).

The sale is now closed. Here is the final list of participants:

papoon
debra
Quarkling
OnePotato
wvzookeeper
Jay
starlightexp
stevrsk13
Alec Satin
skad1
rylla

(Sorry about the typo in the thread title, but there doesn't seem to be any way to edit it.)

Hi. I would be interested in one deck. I live in Canada, but I have a friend in the U.S. who you could ship to on my behalf.

Please let me know if there is any personal information you need from me, and I can supply that separately.

Hi all,

I have been in communication with alice who graciously took it upon herself to contact the seller, Mr Gasparini, about our buy. He has told her that once the exhibit ends, he will relist the remaining decks on ebay for 20 Euros each for the EU only. However, he will honor the 10 Euro price for the members of this forum if we order right away, and he would like the payment to come by bank transfer from alice. As a result, I've just sent alice the money for the currently ordered decks plus the shipping cost (10 Euros) from Mr Gasparini to alice.

Once alice gets the decks (which won't be until the beginning of May), she'll pack them up and send them to me and tell me what the shipping cost is. At that point I'll let everyone know what your individual costs are and you can PayPal them to me.

Once again, thanks to alice for helping make this happen. We couldn't have done it without her.

Edited to add : As of this development, the sale list is now closed.

Sorry about that. If by chance any of the people who have signed up change their mind (unlikely, I know), You'll be first on the waiting list.

Good news! Alice has informed me that she has received the decks from Mr. Gasparini, checked them over for completeness and packed them for shipping. She expects to ship them to me tomorrow.

The shipping cost to me is 26 Euros, which I have sent to alice. This makes the cost of each deck with both legs of shipping to me $17.34. Priority mail to you in the USA (with delivery confirmation) is $6.10.

So, if you ordered one deck, your total is $23.44.

If you ordered two decks, your total is $40.78.

I'll send each of you a PM with your total and my PayPal address. Please keep in mind that I have fronted all the money for this, so quick payment via PayPal would be much appreciated. Also, please make your PayPal payment "Personal" and "Payment Owed" and ensure that you pay any PayPal fee.

And please make sure that your shipping address is included with your PayPal payment.

Thanks!

One more thing. I realize I know many of you only by your forum name here. If your forum name doesn't reflect your real name, please include a note with your forum name along with your payment, so I know which forum member you are.

Thanks.

Good news! The decks arrived today safe and sound (thanks to a great packing job by alice).

Unfortunately, due to the holiday weekend, I won't be able to get them in the mail to everyone until Tuesday or Wednesday. But trust me, they're worth the wait.

Thanks again to alice!

All decks are now on their way! It took a day or two longer than I'd estimated ("real" life intervened), but a few went out yesterday and the rest today. Please let me know when they arrive.

Mine just arrived c/o a friend in the States who agreed to receive them and send them on on my behalf. I very much appreciate Alic and Papoon for making this possible. The cards are a beautiful addition to anyone's collection.
