Robin Ator has a new 22 only (at this point) deck out... I know some of you have seen the thread on AT, but some may have missed it..

I will post scans when it arrives.

to purchase :

to view:

on the viewing site he has a few different collections... I have no idea which one he has decided to use as his majors set....

I had that problem with the House of Tarot the other day... shipping was triple the cost of the items.

The postal charges are excessive. I just emailed Robin Ator to see if we could deal directly  and save some of these postal charges.

This came up on AT. I gather he can't - the printer does it all, print and mail. It seems there is no way round it.

Perhaps one of our US members might be enterprising enough to buy a bunch of copies and then post them on individually  to the few European members who would be interested.

I just ordered mine, and there was no problems, and somewhat reasonable shipping to me.  If anyone wants me to order for them, let me know.  Maybe we could start a box and once the box gets full, then mail it out.  It'd work well with the flat rate boxes the post office uses now.

Does anyone know if it will be a limited edition?  Or printed until they don't sell anymore?

Gregory darling,

I meant I would order the Wicked Wanda and the Prairie at the same time from the same publisher and send if you want.

Who is Gail? I was wondering that myself when I saw the WW cards a while back on ebay... they were about $100. for the majors at the time and out of my price range, so I didn't give it much additional thought...but I wondered if the artist knew about them...was in fact alive at all or if his family knew...or if his work is officially property of Penthouse and thus ?

I shall wait until tomorrow to put in the order in case someone else missed this post..

I don't need the money until they arrive and I go to the post office ...so once the decks are here I will need mailing addresses.

I just got mine, so they ship quickly.  The cards are pretty nice, regular playing card size, so smaller than I like, quality of printing is so-so.  But I just may be spoiled by our last deck.  Instead of a happy Squirrel, they have a really cute jackalope.  For you non Americans, that's a very unusual and rare cross breed of the jack rabbit and the antelope.  Almost never seen in the wild.  (probably because of global warming)

The main thing I didn't like is there is no title card.  Why can't designers/printers/etc put  a title card with their decks???:z

Just for the clarity of all, jackalopes are mythical creatures-- they don't really exist!

I was confused reading the post, because while global warming is responsible for a whole lot of bad things going on, it's not responsible for the disappearance of the jackalope. The jackalope is rarely seen because it doesn't exist. To be seen, I think you have to be smoking some funny stuff .:D

I wish I was. Right now.

I do wish they would do something about this postage crap; they'd be a good place for selfpublishing if they could get it right !

Sorry, I didn't know you were joking :?

When I first heard about Jackalopes, I thought they were real... like Bigfoot and Chupacabras :D. It's an easy mistake, when you live in the world of the tarot and metaphysics!

 Warmly,

 Janet

nicole, thank you for posting the scans of the Major's deck that's currently available. It's nice to see how it actually looks as opposed to the images on flickr. It's so lovely!

I really wanted to hold out for the full deck, but the Majors set is quite inexpensive in the USA.

Oh dear, I think I've been enabled on the Wicked Wanda * must not buy * ha!
