 Wow.  Well the 2008 1st edition is available considerably cheaper from some sources, including me, for example

Seriously.  The strangeness of her art suits the story. 

I bought it in California not far from where it was published.  I priced shipping from US to Germany (same for most of Europe, I think)--$27.
